Description
This is an additional materials kit for the “Hair-on Bark Tan” virtual class. You’ll find value in this kit if you’d like to see how it works with hand harvested materials, or the difference between a condensed tannin (mimosa), and a hydrolysable tannin (cold soaked oak bark).
- 1 square foot salted sheepskin
- 2 pounds ground tan oak bark
- 6 oz citric acid
- 3 lbs salt

Matt is very generous in the amount of oak he sends for the additional hides. Good stuff!

I love the rich color of the oak bark tannin and found this material very pleasant to use. Shipping and handling were very satisfactory!

My oak bark hide didn't tan as well, but the kit and instruction was exceptional.
