These short #12 beading needles are the best for sewing holes in buckskin. Their small size allows them to slide between the fibers rather than trying to push them out of the way. This makes it easy to push them through and they leave very tiny holes.

Delicate beading needles useful for sewing holes in before and after buckskin softening and sewing items from what you make. Really nice to use with nymo thread. They are a typical shorter length of small needles, so have a pin cushion handy. Very satisfying to stab softened buckskin to make sure it passes the needle test

Nice needles. I used to sew up holes in whitetail hides with Nymo 00 thread before softening for buckskin.
